This band did a lot of recordings at the ABC in the 80's and 90's. We had various guys arranging for the combo including a couple of the old ABC staff arrangers like Neil Thurgate, who did great work. Not sure who did this chart.
it's a solid combo that swings like crazy.

"Recorded straight down to 2-track in Studio 211 in the old ABC Forbes St. building: The first take seems to be a run through.

I don't remember the ABC engineer's name, but tech-guru Robert Parker was in attendance. 

From memory, the main mike was an AKG one-point stereo thing, with an
added spotter on Lynn, and maybe one on your amp, though I think you also had a DI feed direct into the desk. For horn solos we marked up the floor like a drama production, and the guys would take a step forward or back, as needed. There may be a tiny bit of added reverb too. Btw, I think the bone was Adrian Mears, but not sure.
